Curious to know what DNS you use and how it stacks up against the rest in terms of speed and reliability. I saw before people from CPT using Google DNS even though it's 20ms away and coupled with the fact that is so far down on the DNS bench list seems silly to use.

I was always using Quad9 because it's pretty and hopefully blocks malware. Also blocks NXDOMAIN which is nice.

You could run a local dns server that self adjusts to fastes dns/chained fasted dns?

I forward my whole network over WARP PLUS, its just better that way :P

Through youtube premuim stopped working :(

1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1 (would use 1.1.1.2/1.0.0.2 if they get DOT working)

They support DNSSEC, DnsOverTls and they don't log

Been using NextDNS for a while now and very happy with it and the multiple profiles I can run on it.

However that might change when they start charging for it.

Hmmmmm don't see the benefit of pushing DNS over Warp - if I were going that overkill I'd create a rule to forward HTTP/HTTPS and whitelist things with local caches like YouTube and Netflix.
Not for me rain shapes youtube and netflix so I want send all the traffic over warp plus.

One day I will have decent internet then I won't need to do this anymore lol

I feel like Quad9 performance is not as great as it used to be but looks similar to my previous test

Hmm, still fastest for me overall at 25ms, with Neustar taking the spot on occasion but I don't know anything about them. Google and CloudFlare averages in the 30's
