Not sure if its been mentioned before but if you want a decent gatsby give Wembly a try, they're more expensive than your usual fisheries but they are top notch.

I prefer Athlone to Super fisheries. Just lekkerderer.

If they can stop calling that damn chip rooti a gebba then that would be great.

Reminds me of a chicken roti I had from Sunrise in Mowbray. The locals had been telling me for years theirs are the best. It was disgusting, sommer whole chicken in there, crushed eggshells, chicken heart and who knows what else. I was surprised not to see a foot in there in the end. Threw 95% of the thing away.

Yeah my buddies from UCT and I used to go there after an intense grafting session, the quality went down quite a bit.

Golden dish is just a name nowadays, too many beggars and tik koppe asking for change, it isn't how it used to be man.

Yeah that sounds rough, places like tend to lose their customer base rather quickly.

We used to buy a beans and cheese Roti Gatsby from that place after finishing exams at UCT. It made the bin dirty after we threw away the wrapper.
