I'm running W7, I installed the software from the discs that came with my Lexmark X1250 but the "All in One" software is not compatible with W7 (scanning & copying portion)
So I downloaded the W7 version, when I run it it detects the earlier version & "uninstalls" it & then it requests a reboot
But then on the restart it still tells me I have to uninstall this earlier version
There was still a full folder of driver files under Program Files after this "uninstall". I have tried removing this folder as well as deleting Local Machine > Software >Lexmark entries from the registry but I still get the same message about an earlier version being on the machine.
Where could it be detecting this & how can I uninstall it fully?
