What's wrong with this car, why so cheap?

Go to google.com and find a picture of the exact lexus, then phone the oke and buy it. Seems like a price you don't want to miss.
 
what do similar models sell for at the same site?

Its either a typo or he is insane. One of the two, your best bet is to ask the seller. And remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is - I wouldnt even waste my time calling the seller TBH - its probably a prank, a mistake, a damaged vehicle or a con...

DJK, true, you are right...and I always kn...hey....hey - what you doing with that phone - put it down !
 
i think they just put in a wrong price, sometimes they put in a wrong pic, or stuff just goes wrong. phone the seller and ask him, than let him know that his advert is wrong, maybe he doesnt even know its wrong...
 
That's definately a typo. A new Lexus is250 retails for about R280K.
For that price that vehicle must have done a gazillion kilometers and is just about flenters.
Don't think it's a legitimate sale.
 
or maybe a practical joke. Heard of people placing ads of other people's cars for really cheap. Back in school, students did it with the principals car.
 
Thanks for posting this! I called about this car after reading this posting and bought it yesterday! The story behind it is that there is a nasty divorce coming up and the wife wanted to sell it for what was still owed to the bank. She knows its worth a lot more and I think this was her way to get "revenge" against her husband. The car was registered in her name, so she was legally able to do this.

I'll probably just drive it around for a few months and then resell it since I can really use the extra money!

It does not sound to lekke but lets say it was true, what a awsome buy it will be for a project car.

Modify it with all the best parts from japan, swap the engine with a properly tuned 2jz-gte and you have a cool 750kw plus car to destroy everyone out there.
