It's that time again when you cannot stand the baby-ing of bad players or the dkp hoarding of officers to the detriment of the raid groups and need to seek a new guild in which to thrive.

Toons are alliance but I won't mind a reroll
Main is an exceptionally good Fury warrior with Arena arms offspec for Faction champs

What am I looking for? A progressive guild,2-4 Raid nights a week,Hardmode capable but not necessarily started with them yet. Just looking to raid with people who don't make excuses after dying in the same fire 5 times

Not sure if you want to server transfer , but we do need another good warr and we have a fare dkp system with everyone get same priority for loot etc. 4 days or 3 days a week 25 man 3 hours , and we have mercy on south africa players dc etc

Just to be a little pedantic and OT: you are too low below the hit cap. with just over 6% Hit, you incur as much as a 8-12% DPS loss using Titans Grip. Even being alliance with a Draenei in the raid won't net you the 8% soft cap.

You do realize that there is specific talents to take to up the hit cap - which you clearly mislooked or decided to be deriding anyway.

Either way,there is absolutely 0 you will be telling me about a warrior I do not know as I pride myself on being well versed in each mechanic/ability and talent choices along with raid synergy and awareness /nod

I had the 3rd Highest DKP in the list,this isn't a discussion on free loot,troll somewhere somebody cares for your ramblings


at 1700dkp - 5 dkp per bosskill and 10dkp per hour earned,there is no free lunch

Your loot/GS, dkp, 'skill', massive epeen etc don't matter anywhere nearly as much as how well you're able to play in a group.
Perhaps you should work on your people skills.

I think you are expecting too much from what is, afterall, just a game If you cant have fun wiping, you shouldnt be playing it

Hehe wiping is fine,notwithstanding ridiculous plate repairs QQ,however the same people dying in every fire/flame breath/malleable goo/cleave/puddle or just generally avoidable dangerous situations and being pardoned for being GM pets make my eyes bleed

Here's something constructive.

Try the guild recruitment channel on your realm(unless you've worn out your welcome on your entire server, in which case...eish...transfer time), or the GR forum on the official forums. And don't ever post your reasons for leaving. And try not to get too involved in the new guild's politics.

Specifically, I'll point out Tip Number 4:

Don't complain about your last guild. Even if the split was really bad, just say "there were some issues about _____ and I decided to move on." An epic description of the drama in your last guild makes you look bad, and some of the officers in your wanna-be-new guild probably have friends in your old one.

Most guild applications will ask why you left your last guild. This question is intentionally loaded to help guilds weed out the crazies. Give too little information here and people will get suspicious. Give too much information and you may shoot yourself in the foot. Honesty is key here, because it wouldn’t take much for officers of your prospective guild to get in touch with officers of your former guild and verify your story. However, if you left your last guild on bad terms, they don’t need the gory details.

As Mr. Ward so succinctly put it:

“Every guy loves a good cat fight, but no one wants to date the cat!”

If you left your last guild on bad terms, simply say there was a disagreement or difference of opinion and leave it at that. If the new guild wants more details, they’ll ask you or they’ll ask your former guild and then ask you for clarification. (This is good incentive not to be a total jerk, btw. People do check!)

Last, labelling everyone who disagrees with you/your position a troll will, sadly, not always work out.
And me ole pappy always sed you'll get a donkey to go further by using both the carrot and a stick rather than just the stick.

I thought that the Original post were quite reasonable in requesting a new guild. DKP can easily become a source of corruption for guild leaders if they exploit it. The disbanding of many guilds resulted from this...
Regarding the trolling that followed, I think no one here is entirely innocent... The comment on hit cap was possibly an attempt at trying to cause some conflict, or just out of ignorance. The response to that unfortunately does not place the original poster in a good light. No one knows everything about everything, and claiming that that they do is just arrogant. Not even Pornolio that is probably the highest dps'er on the forum and knows the Hunter class in and out will make such claims, but rather say he is still learning and testing out new things...

Some humility goes a long way, and if you find that you will be able to find a place in some great guilds. I have been in a great guild for almost 10 years now (yes from before WoW even!) and even though progression were never our priority we still managed to clear all content. (well not all, we still struggle a bit on the 25man hardmodes )

Good luck though in finding a nice progression guild, I would however recommend a guild in which you can grow and build some friendships.

A well thought out response Perhaps my response sounded a bit cocky,admittedly,however the amount it was blown out of proportion as being god-complex epeening is a bit much.
DPSwise I am among the top5 warriors on the realm so I feel I do come from a good standing when I rebuff most questions from non-peers,most of my postings on Elitistjerks has also been contributing rather than questioning.

Reason I'm having no luck on our realm at the moment finding a place is purely coincidental from what's known as glass-ceiling effect. The higher-up you get the tougher the spots are to fight for thus my consideration to move elsewhere and endeavour with new friends rather than beg to go back to a guild which saw it fit to bring their personal relationships to the game-world and score brownie points

Mate, I understand and agree with you fully.

It annoys me to death when I have to heal 25 people, watch for things, move etc etc and don't fail, while others who just need to do 1 or 2 simple things keeps failing time after time on the same things. I like playing at a certain high standard and pride myself in that and I except the same from the people around me.
