We have an LG plasma TV, and it is certainly on par with other TVs we had. I may add that we have a dark lounge (hence not much reflection).

I have the 60PN6500 which is a "dumb" version of this. Not the brightest if the room is very light but at night, it is awesome!

Got the 2012 50" version the plex client is flawless better than the roku one. Sdtv is ok hd awesome no issues at all.
