1 hour of hearthstone ate 20% of your battery. that is exactly the problem.

I promise you now, keeping the screen locked while music is streaming you will get 10 hours out of the battery. provided no hearthstone.

try it for one day and post battery usage again.

Impossible, I need to complete my daily's. :twisted:

When the phone is idle it lasts for 3 days

laptop.
tab.
old phone on wifi.
also you can skip 1 day worht of dailies and do it the next day.
 
I have not had any of the issues listed there.
but it was worth the read.

also no need to root. I have always been a firm believer in rooting, but this is the first phone where I honestly don't think it needs it.

The last time I rooted my daily driver, it was my S2, as I wanted to get ICS soooo bad, I couldn't wait. :D

That article is ancient, roots are generally specific to the hardware and software version you are rooting.

Think I saw a root tutorial on XDA for the G4, not sure if LG has something like Knox security on the Samsung's that gets tripped/warranty void if you root, sometimes guys find ways to root without tripping knox but that loophole normally gets closed with any new software update.
 
Does anyone know where I can buy a decent Quick Charge 2.0 Charger?

As you might all know, the G4 support Quick Charge 2.0 but the charger that we get with the phone does not.
 
What's quick charge? Isn't that some new li ion battery technology, I can imagine you'd maybe need a special charger to utilize it but why wouldn't the standard charger that comes in the box support it?
