LG G4

I see Cell c advertising it at R469 on epic 150. Hopefully cheaper at Telkom mobile. I dont want the airtime. Only interested in a way to pay the phone off without having to splurge 9k at once.
 
Just picked up my phone a few hours go from vodaworld. And it is amazing. Better that i thought. Got the tan leather version. LG was kind enough to include an extra back over. Vodacom also included an axtra battery kit (battery, charger, battery case.)

Its actually very sad that there is no hype about thw release from service providers most are actually clueless as to when they will have stock. Yet samsungs hype was awesome

Network provider fault or Lg Sa....

Lg G series is so good and with proper marketing they could do so well.....

LG SA had proper hype on their facebook and twitter, but not as much budget obviously as samsung for the tv ads.

Will post pics asap. Speaking of pictures, the camera on this phone. Wow. It is amazing. It is iPhone like in how it effortlessly takes amazing pictures. The camera is fast. None of the focus hunting that i am used to from previous Android phones.

Not easy to get stock. Cellc most certainly don't have in their stores....

I upgraded via 084143 so will most likely get it on Tuesday or Wednesday
 
I am going in on sat to sort it all out.

I cant hold out any more and neither can the SO. her Xperia Z is dying battery is lasting about 4 hours without much use.
I can still hold out with my S4, but I WANT the g4 NOW damit...
 
So I received my LG G4 today from Vodacom.
I had the touchscreen issue as described here on XDA:

But quickly fixed that by setting the Force GPU Rendering option in developer options.

The Phone is very quick and the battery life surprisingly good.
I got the phone pre-charged to 30% when I got it and 5 hours later it was on 24%.

Other than the slew of Vodacom and LG bloatware that I have hidden from view in Nova launcher, the experience has been awesome!

Oh and the extra battery kit is very good quality too.

I see that the dual sim LG G4 is now available on eBay (from Hong Kong).

Would love to have that.
 
How big is the screen?
Won't dual sim chew battery?
 
can someone show the pictures of the battery kit vodacom is giving as part of the deal?
