Ill try and keep the list short :

Turning the phone face down to mute ringer.......... Checked settings. Useless function unless phone placed on table or hard surface. Sammy NEVER had this problem.
When opening sms history sent and recieved from the same person it would auto scroll to oldest sms. Sammy NEVER this crap.
Setting up groups and favourites in the adress book is a major pain in the ass.
S4 has a much better camera. I regularly take pics on site and its no contest between the two.
On the s4 you can sent PITA sms's to spam, no such luck with z2.
Anybody want to swap a s4 for my 6 month old z2?

I do like the fact that the z2 autoloads holidays etc when choosing region.

All in all the z2 is not bad but I'll take a s4 anyday and rather live with the bloatware and my s6 and s7 schedule meds.

Sounds like you loaded a crappy custon ROM. I never had that SMS issue, and my tunring phone worked fine. SPAM stuff can be done via app.

I think you just got brainwashed by samsung bloat.

Then the S4 was also felt like cheap plastiic crap.

The Sony had water proofing, I even was in the Jacuzzi with my Sonys.

Samsung is just crap.

Forgot to mention Sony actually has camera shutter buttons that work with half press. Which I'm also missing now with this G4. Next year I'm back to Sony.

My sony's charging cap keeps popping off. No dust no visible issues apparent for this phenomena. So just as un ip as the s4.

Standard rom. Factory installed.

I would rather have plastic phone with removable battery...... ( i do like the solid z2 frame, just not the unaccesable battery.) must say less freezes on the z2 than s4.

What are your gripes with the G4, Chevron. I am due for upgrade shortly an its between the G4 and S6. Leaning towards G4.

Oh.

Look it has it's positives. The leather back makes it grip a lot better than the glass of the Z3. I've already used the IR blaster a lot, and the camera is amazing. Just a few things that are missed.

How do you find the buttons at the back? I love it. Will miss it if I should move on to another handset. I find the size and grip also to be perfect. Some things I would love them to add to the G5 from the competition: Finger print scan from S6. Waterproofing from Xperia. Sound & speakers of HTC.
 
Two days in must say I like the phone I did say I'm not worried about battery but it was bad hope it was just me playing with the phone after first charge, other then that it a big difference for me from the Note 3 but I had to get use to it also when I got it so I'm sure I will start to enjoy it soon
