Mine's: 8.3.01 (2385995-240)

I think I'm running normally still, not too aware of battery usage during the day, 11% over 3.5 hours since charge.
 
I am going to give it a day. had it since saturday and today is the first time its giving me trouble.

I still think its not the launcher. but if I am below 30% when I need to leave the office tommorow its gone as soon as I get home.
 
Notice how Fanie has the same launcher and its not eating his battery?
I just checked again. down to 66%
the launcher moved down to second place behind android system.

I think its something else eating my battery not the launcher.

Definitely the OS causing the drain.

But singling out the process is going to be a challenge without root.

I know WakeLock Detector tells you exactly which process causes the drain. But Root is required.

I would give it a couple of days... maybe also, before you put it on charge tonight, do a battery pull, and see how it goes tomorrow.
 
How is there no charger at work? its the best part of owning an android, there is someone who has a charger close by...
