LG G4

This Gear really makes sure your battery doesn't last like it should.

Guys I can confirm the notification fix I posted a while ago works.

this morning I had a notification light wiht no actual notification, went into alarm. pressed save and locked the screen.
boom all gone.

and yes I made sure it was still there after unlocking, clearing recent apps and all those things before actually going into alarms just to be 100% sure.

anyway... those modified apps are obviously not as optimised as they should be...

the G Watch R on my Z5 is also horrible when it comes to battery... but funnily enough not the bluetooth... but the Android OS process

and as I say that I pull out my Z5 to look at battery... haven't really used my phone at all today... 85% after just over 8 hours off charger
which this fukking thing will make up its mind

is this a permanent fix or will you have to do the procedure every time the LED blinks erroneously?

I have not had the bug all day.

but then again sometimes days go by where you dont see it so I have no idea at all.

point is, if the LED notification is flashing for no reason, there is a way to make it stop that does not involve a reboot or wait it out option. even if its not permanent, its an improvement.

I've also sometimes got the LED problem after receiving an SMS or Whatsapp - I just push that down arrow thing twice and then the LED stops flashing

the what?

the back button?

I dont thing you have actually seen the real LED notification bug on your phone then.
usually after getting some notification that you clear the same colour light still flashes, and nothing took it away other than a reboot, or simply waiting it out.
until that guy on XDA posted about the alarm set, I had no idea there was another fix. but explain what you do to get rid of yours and I will try it if I get one again, who knows it might be an easier workaround than what I did.

no I think I have....
Get an SMS
Read the SMS
Turn off screen
LED flashes
Turn ON screen
No messages available?

This is the thing I press twice and the LED clears

how is the talkband? it seems kinda silly that they made it a smartwatch + bluetooth earpiece.

I really only use it for a daily step counter and timer on cardio runs. Wasteful I know. But I'm pretty set on reaching certain fitness goals in the next 6 months and every bit of statistics will help to make the small changes needed.

But I really like it. Barely notice it on my wrist and battery lasts 5 days easy. Charges quickly too.

It has a sleep analysis thingy too but I'm very skeptical of its reports. Been sleeping really bad the past few weeks and it tells me that I'm regularly getting 8hrs sleep while I know it is barely 4.
