LG KU990 Viewty

Cool, thanks for your time Velenoso. I'd really like to get this phone but I'd also like to know what I'll be getting before being stuck with it for two years.

I've read up a bit more and apparrently there are two models, the release model and an updated one. I think you've got the updated one with some minor fixes and with the software made a bit more streamlined and faster(thats a firmware update btw, only you can't update the old one yourself, you'll have to take it to LG).

So if you don't mind me asking, whats it like using opera mini on it? Does it behave the same way as the built in browser? Do you also scroll with your fingers and can you also browse in landscape format? And the Qwerty? Is it available in opera mini?

I've also read that apparently the phone doesn't allow you to download files bigger than 1Mb!

This might be just on UK carriers but can someone with a KU990 please confirm wether this is true for local phones as well?

Oh ****, I only saw this thread now. Don't know if you still need the info, but yeah Opera Mini works great, you can scroll with your fingers or open up a navigation/querty on screen keyboard. It's great.

Anyway, mine is up for grabs if xrapidx doesn't want it. I've got my BlackBerry I use in the states and I feel like using a TYTN or similar for a few months (bit bored, feel like a change) before my contract is due for upgrade in January.
