I have a P1 series LG laptop.
1st battery lasted 17 months then died - wouldn't charge. Bought a new one from LG. This has lasted just 3 months. Now also won't charge.

I heard these batteries have some sort of electronic fuse inside them.
Before I buy another - has anyone had such an experience ?

Do the batteries not have any warranties?

Had the same hassles with a P1 - actually have had problems with all LG products i own. I gave up after the battery was swapped and failed again and now have a 0s battery time which is a real pisser. I got 1 month the first time and less the second. Last LG product for me.

Give CRT a call on 021 552 4345, they are the LG notebook repair agents, could be the battery is fine but the charging circuit on the motherboard is faulty

Actually if your battery never had this circuits,it would explode.TAKE IT BACK NOW.
You dont want to sit in a hospital with fried kentucky fingers..lol
