LG Nexus 5

8igger screens need larger batteries and pockets. How practical are these to lug around?

The render of the phone looks like the bezel is super small so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same size as the GS3\4. Personally I like the size of the Galaxy Nexus or even the Nexus 4.

Would be quite funny if Google did release a phone like that with those specs.

i just about stomached my htc one x size. not sure 5" is my thing.

3GB of ram! Would be amazing. But i think that 2.3ghz processor will chow battery!

A 3300mAh battery would be pretty beefy though.

Seems like all phones (higher range) are going bigger. I think it's just a cycle we're going through, we'll probably see the move back or more options available in the 3.5-4.5" range in a few years. Also remember that folding phones should also come back in 2/3 years so that 5" might become a 2.5":p

4K video recording on a phone? We're only just getting high end consumer cameras capable of this. Nobody has announced 4K camera hardware that can fit in phones yet, the current generation of phones struggles to do 1080p properly.

This is surely a prank.

I laughed when I saw that, I don't see the worth of it either. Agreed, rather get phones up to dedicated video camera quality.

Those specs are BS. Even the battery - Lithium Polymer has about half the energy density of lithium ion, so there is no way of packaging that in a cellphone thinner than a brick.

The rumors i heard was that Google are going home - they are going to use Motorola mobility for their next Nexus phone.
Its gonna be the Nexus "X"

Why would google put a TV tuner in their phone? Nexus is about keeping costs down, although those specs look amazing I don't think they are realistic for a Nexus phone

lol a 1min 4k vid would be about 600mb in size. (typical 1min 1080p is 160mb, since 4k is '4x1080p' I therefore conclude the files would be 4 times larger :P)

Funny thing about YouTube- it kind of made me understand just how awesome having stuff in the cloud could be, and why Google limits storage on the Nexus devices... My kingdom for affordable data!
