LG V20

This will be my next phone, should I decide to upgrade. I am seriously considering to just keep on using my good old LG G3. I bought a new battery for it, and there's nothing else wrong with it. :o

Anyone know when the battery cradle bundle is going to come to SA?

Yoh, now this is one nice cover. Best I've ever had by far

It's bulkier than the Spigen, but not by much. It's less bulkier than it looks. I'd say it adds about 2mm - 2.5mm to the size of the phone. Manageable.

Used a V20 at Vodashop in Fourways Mall. Good grief this thing is huge, lol, it did not help that they put it next to a Galaxy S7 Flat. I'm pretty sure its taller than my old Note 4.

Anyway, lovely phone, truly solid build and the UI is incredibly fast and smooth. I like how the bottom and top bits sort of bend away, gives it some character I guess? Nice effect either way.
Display is amazing, and just like in S7e, you can 'condense' it or make it less condsensed. The 2nd Display is very interesting, is it OLED? Looked very black, blending well with the the black border.

LG must continue on this path, I really liked the little time I had with it, and despite what some reviews say WRT the design, it did a nice job at standing out, at least for me, amongst the Huaweis.

Wtf is up with Huawei taking over BTW!? The majority of phones in that store are Huawei, I cant even workout which Huawei is which, but they were EVERYWHERE.

Yeh, the Huawei is the Android iPhone... it's cheap, and those who can't afford iPhones are getting Huaweis. I don't like the interface.... but they are getting better and better.

I really like Huawei, they remind me of Samsung back when Nokia dominated, but damn, its a bit much.

Same here WRT UI, not a fan at all.

Yeah, getting an upgrade soon, looking for mid-range. LG doesn't have any presence besides the terrible Stylus which is more entry level. The LG X Cam was supposed to compete, only Vodacom has it though, and it's not a great competitor. The only reason I am even contemplating it is that I don't like hardware buttons (Samsung) and Huawei using EMUI which I am not a fan of.

Either I'm going to wait or maybe go grey import of a OnePlus One X.

You want mid range? Get a Sony, they make the best mid rangers. Heck, if you can, get your hands on a Xperia Z5 or Xperia X Performance, they are older High Ends, but are well up to par with the latest and greatest in terms of performance, battery life, camera and updates.
