Since becoming aware - we have taken immediate steps to secure our computer systems and are investigating the incident. Reserving for when the news hits. I'm not sure what the message means - ransomware that damaged/encrypted their data (for which they likely have backup - easily remedied) or data stolen for which they are demanding $$ to destroy.

Why do you people even have products with them?

Hopefully insurance and not investments.
 
Liberty CTO is going to have a really baaad monday.

Im thinking ransomware as it follows the Friday lockout policy...Patch Tuesday....Friday lockout etc,etc.
 
Sounds like they got hit by WannaCry or one of it's variants.
 
Just got same sms. Why send it to customers? Its their kuk to sort out.
GDPR states that they should inform the customers as part of the process, besides I'd rather know than not even if GDPR doesn't apply here. Enables you as a customer to be more aware of emails from thanking for info
