Successful, really? The only reason someone would go into a job like this is because (a) They don't know how to do any other job reasonably, (b) They were in sales but couldn't find enough people to coldcall, (c) They found said 'success' in recruiting idiots to pay them to give them the equivalent of the 'life skills'/'life orientation' class we all found completely useless in high school.

The only thing these people are doing besides robbing morons of money with little in return is ruining natural selection for the rest of us.
