Yeah why not. If money isn’t an issue then I don’t see why not.
Actually got me thinking.
Victron is like Apple. Nice ecosystem and it just works.Actually got me thinking.
I am on MBB and Powerforum. I legit haven’t seen a single post of someone complaining about an error or something wrong on the Victron. Granted only been 2 years now almost but still.
Sunsync, Deye, Pylon, Axpert, the clones etc. there is always someone posting something. Could just be because few buy Victron also who knows.
That price on the MultiPlus-II!! I paid R30k+.
Yes, it used to be worse. Now its only double the price of the competition. That price on the MultiPlus-II!! I paid R30k+.
12v 24 or 48?Any good deals on a 200Ah lifepo4? Considering the 100ah are cheaper now it seems the prices of the 200Ah are still high.
12V12v 24 or 48?
that is A hard one because I don't always trust the 200ah claims on some off the 12v batteries
Exactly, there is a flood of them but the specs, specifically the cycles, current discharge are dodgy.that is A hard one because I don't always trust the 200ah claims on some off the 12v batteries
I wouldnt worry about mixing brands. To add I am looking at better brands so that I am able to add on, need it for a small system for fridge, lights and TV.
I guess, they have BMSes so should be able to sort themselves out. Alternatively I could go for two 100ah but it works out expensive.I wouldnt worry about mixing brands.
1 x 100Ah should be able to handle a fridge.I guess, they have BMSes so should be able to sort themselves out. Alternatively I could go for two 100ah but it works out expensive.
Not too worried about the mixing, mostly looking for good cycles and a decent discharge current, for the fridge.
I would go 100Ah. That way its cheaper to upgrade to 24V or 48V later. Just need a balancer:I guess, they have BMSes so should be able to sort themselves out. Alternatively I could go for two 100ah but it works out expensive.

I have a suspicion the fridge gets very close to the max 100A at startup, not very efficient so there is a slight dimming of lights when it kicks in, with the TVs and lights, the 200Ah is the comfortable choice.1 x 100Ah should be able to handle a fridge.
