LifePO4 Battery info

Not all lithium batteries are the same quality, you pay top prices for good quality lithium, then you get cheap lithium.
Same as cars, just look at those rusty Tata vehicles that @epah sells at We Buy Cars. Rubbish metal
I'll take my chances.

Yeah I have been looking at batteries for 6 months. Read all the reviews etc. For my 12v battery box I went with the blue geewiz one, the black one only had m6 bolts,(according to the manual) and my cables already crimped for M8

I will only use it once or twice a month, and will only take it down to 50 - 60% over a weekend.

Then I leave it on 50 - 55% if not in use.

I have come to the conclusion that most of the expensive ones, are, well, just not worth it as they are really not much better than some of the cheaper ones. I know the really cheap ones are crap, but not all of them are, and some companies are just crazy with their prices.

You can build a 230ah battery for under R10 000 with very very decent cells. Some companies are still selling 100Ah batteries for R7000 - R10 000, they are screwing us over with those prices

I checked the specs some time ago, don't look very good, can't recall if it was the cycles or what. I ended up going for the black one from Geewiz, came looking like a 50Ah so I was also sceptical, but so far so good.
I see what you mean by the size, mine arrived today, exactly same size as my current 50ah one, but double the weight. Their manual also says it's supposed to be bigger lol. Will charge it up and do a test over the weekend to see if I get 100ah out of it at least

Well, I see I have a test result that came with the battery. (Only looking at the papers inside the box now). Results for the discharge test is 104.14ah, done on the 2024/03/28
