So, I wasn't at home this week and came back to anarchy.
The router was plugged in during a storm last night, the telephone cables were removed from the jacks on the wall, however, we've got a 60m network cable running through the roof to an outside office.
It's a Billion (Telkom) 5102G router, which gave me some good times and I'm sad because I know Telscum will probably give me some crappy Marconi scrap router again.
The 3rd ethernet port blinks on and off constantly and there isn't a cable connected to it. I tried to reset it a few times to see if it won't get sorted, but nada.
It syncs, connects, but loses the PPPoE connection every 3 minutes.
I'm connected with a USB DSL modem at this moment, which I had as a spare (but it was the first time I ever installed one and battled for a good 45 minutes, since the directions are pathetic).
Anyone experience a router do this yet?
