hey guys i have a samsung writemaster with lightscribe, any1 know how to get lightscribe to work?? i have nero installed

then if you dont alrewady have lightscribe software bundled with your nero, download it from here http://www.nero.com/enu/technologies-direct-disc-labeling.html

downloaded and installed all the software, lightscribe software says "no lightscribe device found" ??? what now?? and dvd is light scribe as it says it on it.

NERO 7 OEM LIGHTSCRIBE INSTALL ISSUE

I got a Nero 7 OEM with lightscribe(ver.7.9.6.4) install cd with a samsung lightscribe dvd writer(Model: SH-S202N)
Uninstalled my prev Nero 7 ULTRA(ver7.00.0177).Deleted the Nero folder from Program Files.
I can't get Nero 7 OEM to install from the cd and get this Installer Info"The installed version of is not compatible with Nero 7.Please update or uninstall before you install Nero 7."
Between the words of / is there aren't any nero 7 ver. written????
How do I remuve Nero files from the regedit?Will this help?
Or can I use my prev Nero 7 Ultra to lightscribe?

I have never had the need to use light scribe before,due to this thread i will be trying it out next week

I luuurve lightscribe.
When it comes to sentimental discs (birthday DVD's etc) or my favourite games. Love it!

Get lightscribe 1.2 discs though, the black comes out a lot darker and cleaner

Problem is it takes so damn long - I think I made three discs at most.

Yeah they do take a while... Fortunately it doesn't hog too much of my resources so I can do other things while it's busy

what happens if you try lightscribe on a normal disk? anybody tried it out before?

It won't work. There's a strip on the plastic bit of the disc that says it Lightscribe.
If you use a normal disk it'll tell you it's not Lightscribe
