Limited Broadband - how much do webcams use?

Hi there,

Really need some info here. I currently have BT Broadband which is unlimited per month and am wanting to change to either 10GB or 15GB for less money. But I am worried that it won't be enough. I dont dload that much, but what concerns me is how much do webcams take? A certain programme I watch they set up webcams for a few nights for roughly 3hrs. Is only every few months say. Don't want to get stuck in signing for another yr and find I can't watch when these shows are on cos of running out.
There are also 3 of us that use the internet. But me and partner don't dload very much. I am more likely to upload videos every so often so not sure if this uses up broadband space much either!

Its hard to estimate what your usage would be, but judging from what you say 10-15 GB Should cover.

Why not download Bandwidth Monitor Pro (30 day free trial, can even continue using with no limitations after 30 days):

Use it and see what your usage is, if you are short for time, watch a 3hr video and you should have an idea of how much bandwidth you will need.

Hi, thanks very much for the link. I will try that out. Though I have to decide within a wk because the contract runs out unless I renew it.

Just dloaded it, but it keeps asking me for a registration code even though on main page its telling me I don't need to register til after the 30 day evaluation.
