Limited Connectivity to Iphone 5 hotspot

Hi there guys, sorry if this has been discussed before, I have tried suggestions on other forums but I can't seem to get things working. so basically I am trying to connect two laptops to my iPhone 5, both of them connect but have limited connectivity, can any of you advise on how to get this working? I have tried changing the phone's name to remove capitals and the apostrophe.

Most likely the IP network settings on the laptops are static, maybe even just the DNS part. Check that.

What OS are you running on the PC?

The iPhone wants to use its own IP address.

Set their IPs to be set automatically. I've never had issued connecting my iPhone to Crapdows machines.

Flush the DNS and register the DNS and then you release and renew the IP address. This is common on some android phone and iphones you need to release and renew IP address sometimes or even flush and register DNS.

hey guys sorry I didn't respond, I'm going to test all your suggestions out now and see if I can get it working, the one laptop has Windows 7 home basic and the other is windows 8.1 single language

As mentioned, set the IPv4 address for that adapter to "obtain automatically" and that might do the trick (hopefully)
