Okay, my line is not disconnecting anymore, I'm sitting nicely online, downloading or chatting on MSN/Skype etc and everything just stops.

I lose connection to everything, even Windows 7 says "No internet access" (about my Neotel device) and the only way to fix this is disconnect and reconnect.

Hugo, this is FRACKING irratating man, we go from 1 f'ing issue to another!

Man, it's like a really bad relationship... you have your good days and bad days, but the bad days out shine the good days by far.

Isn't it supposed to be a wireless [i.e. line-less] service, and does NeoGhost actually bill for a line rental fee?

Neotel do not charge a line rental.

Thank the lord for that...
But doesn't NeeoGhost charge something like ZAR99/month rental for a crappy CDMA2000 handset that NeoGhost designed in-house to not allow calls and internet connectivity at the same time?

I'm curious to know how NeoGhost justifies the ZAR99 per month for a wireless service, which is not that far behind the analogue line rental fee charge that Telkodemonopolies levies for a Cu line.

ic, Neotel can't justify a fracking thing, seriously!

How they can hunt for new clients when they can't even look after their current client base, god only knows.

Hugo...

99.90 % uptime... really?

KARRRRRRRRK STORY!

Classify uptime?
I've been down how many times yesterday already...

3 times this morning...

I classify uptime as in, when the device is not working when it should be working.

Hugo... stop taking those drugs bru... they causing you to start talking KAAAAAAAARK :)

Measurable

Seriously gdiza - its a measurement platform % against a time basis run hourly, daily, weekly and monthly.

So although you might hit an unscheduled downtime (which isn't part of the measurement matrix, as in any network), its average percentile is only aggrevated by shceduled downtimes eg this weekend Sun morning 13 Dec.
Which will flow chart it to an estimated 86% measurment, and might only drop the overall % by .7/8. (Downtime of 4 hrs)
