Line Interferance

Hi . I am due to have a conferance call tonight, last time I had one there was alot of interference (not constantly rather intermittently) i assume from the adsl (it sounded like a fax machine). what can I do to avoid this problem tonight?

Check or replace your Pot maybe?

A pot is the small white box that is normally plugged into your wall socket and it splits the line into two outputs : phone and adsl. All it really does is prevent the "digital noise" ( don't know the correct term here ) from coming onto your phones line. Backtrack your phones cable and you should find it. If you have an extension, remember that every phone must have its own pot as far as I know.

Well then it's a pretty good guess to say that it wasn't interference from your ADSL then.
