Line speed upgrade

So i asked for a line speed upgrade last night and were wondering what sort of timelines does it take with fibre to change the speed?

I did ask in the ticket, but no response yet. Thought maybe someone here would know.
 
No response on the ticket at all since logging it 35 hours ago, not even an acknowledgement that the request was received. Also no reply in the CI support forum even though the support was active in other threads.
 
Please post your ticket number? Time to upgrade usually depends on the FNO.
 
Thanks. It was basically done instantly when they attended to it this morning.

For reference to anyone else. They submitted the upgrade which generated a pro rata invoice, as soon as I paid it online, the speed was upgraded and I just had to restart the ONT

I did it in December 2018 on https://shop.vumatel.co.za/ and it was done in 15 minutes.
 
Wonder why the downgrades cant be the same with pro rata invoices ? Have to wait a month for CI to downgrade .

It's the way the FNOs work, we don't get a credit mid month if we downgrade a line.

That is some amazing **** right there...... I have been waiting over a month.
 
I upgraded my package last week - still running at the old speed though. Rebooted everything etc.

I know you guys are crazy busy, but hoping you could assist in getting my line speed upgraded quickly:

How do you go about doing this on the Vuma portal ginggs? I've looked all over the show and can't find anything...

Also if I click "more" under current package notging at all happens. Just the expression on my face changes ;)

This has changed changes need to go through your ISP.
