Down up
DSL Noise Margin: 122 dB 57 dB
DSL Attenuation: 225 dB 413 dB
DSL Transmit Power: -498 dBm -419 dBm

Router Linksys Cisco WAG120N

Good or bad?

neither good nor bad your attenuation is average

what speed are you syncing at, cause 5.7 db is a bit low for that sync speed

Do you perhaps have your Down & Up values mixed up? I find it strange that your upstream Line Attenuation is higher than your downstream Line Attenuation, because it is usually other way round - just have a look at this thread: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/186156-Understanding-SNR-and-Attenuation-Rates

Could you also post your upstream sync speed?

If you're getting 5.7dB SNR margin with a Line Attenuation of 41.3dB and a speed of 4096kbps, then your ADSL modem is rather poor!
I would suggest that you plug out all the other telephonic equipment (filters, telephones, fax, etc) and connect your ADSL modem directly onto the Telkom line to check if the stats doesn't improve.

With no assumptions looking at those stats I'm wondering how the hell he was able to post this from his connection......

Hmm, I really find it odd that the upstream Attenuation is that high!

You can also try to switch from ADSL2+ modulation to G.Dmt modulation, if your modem allows you to change it.

Lastly, you can borrow a TP-Link or D-Link ADSL modem from a friend, because I know that they are pretty good when it comes to SNR margins.
