NB! - you'd need your modem/router attached to a PC - preferably connected to your Telkom ADSL/VDSL line - to go through & check on all the following.
I don't have your router, but in general terms :
1. Open a web browser** & in the search bar at the top, type in - 192.168.1.1 - that should be the default IP address assigned to your router ;
2. It should open a box which will have space for your modem/router's Username & Password to be inserted ;
3. By factory default, most modems/routers have as default, the Username & Password (both) set to "admin" ;
4. If (username & password are) accepted by your modem/router, then it'll open a webpage which you can navigate to get your stats, especially SNR (noise) margins, attenuation, actual & attainable router speeds (Mbps) ;
5. Should you not gain access, try Googling your router model no., and if there's a PDF on the internet, it should give you the default login details OR there should be a pamphlet in the box the router was in when you bought it, with the details ;
6. Within the modem/router settings (under Security / Passwords, or similar), ensure you change the password (username as well, if possible to) to something rather more complex than just "admin".
** = note : I currently find that Internet Explorer allows me to access my modem/router stats, but not Mozilla Firefox or Google's Chrome - I think it depends on their updates which for some reason sometimes block access ; therefore, try Internet Explorer first, and if that doesn't work, then try the others, and/or Opera browser.
