can someone please assist me. I have a linksys WRT54GL and the admin who had the password to the consul left without giving us the details. he implimented MAC security and i need to add new users, but without the username and password i cant do much. i have the wifi passphrase but that doesnt allow one access to the consul and I really dont want to reset the AP and set everyone up again. way too much effort.

A reset of your router should fix it, unfortunately that's the only solution I can think of

Doing a reset by holding down the small button next to the right antenna is your only option really (unless you get hold of the guy who knows it or you can guess it).

It's called a console by the way.
Good luck in finding another way to crack the username+password without a Proper reset.

If you're lucky he hasn't changed the username/password from the default (unlikely though, if he enabled MAC address filtering). Try getting in with admin/admin or administrator/admin.
