Well Linteg Fibre started digging trenches in June 2021 until today no live fibre in the area. However there were some stories going around about the initial contractor been cancelled due to the quality of the job. However even now, there is still that dragging that is happening.

Moving on to the next point. I noticed that there is a rip-off to some of us who only have a 1 single FNO. Other complexes that have more than 1 FNO's also have the R399 for 25/5 down-up option on the same FNO. Screenshot_20220214_174544_com.opera.browser.jpg

Welcome to the majority of single FNO pricing.
Open networks promote better pricing to customers where single FNO's will generally charge more.

Hope you issue gets resolved soon.

I doubt it will, just received information that the public stopped the process claiming that the contractors were hiring majority of foreigners. So the processes are stopped. There will be a meeting soon and a further step will be taken from there.
FYI: They source informing me claims that they haven't been receiving their wages.

That sucks bud.
They need to try and get a open network provider like Vumatel, octotel, evotel.
Not sure who is in your area but there must be.

[Update] The pushing of fibre has been going in drips and drops. Now they have reached my side of the street area... Then they stopped working for like two weeks now. When I call and enquire they said that they ordered 48 Fibre ( I dont know what that is) I said that for my street they are going to need a 48 fibre, while other places only needed 24 fibre.

I was so bored with that decision coming to think, what will happen should that fibre gets damaged... Will I wait again for another+2 weeks for it to be fixed. I am really really bored with this initiative.

There have been developments in the location about the MTD rolling out fibre in the location. Those guys were very fast, they even covered almost 70% of the location and they are rolling the fibre down the (Telephone like) poles. However I heard that the workers in another section were not paid, then they decided to attempt to remove those poles, and they were stopped by the public. Now those poles are leaning skrew.

Just thought I should let you know all the drama that I'm going through. Enjoy
