Looking to do a linux course - correspondance if possible - would ultimately like to become a linux admin of some sorts - anyone that anybody can recommend - I don't really know where to look.

I hear a good linux sys admin can be worth their weight in gold and that jobs in this sector pay quite a bit - is that true? Not that I want to do it for the money but its nice to know what future income could be...

Thanks
J

If you're looking to gain the skills, there is NO substitute for experience. in this case, actually administering a network of linux systems will be most beneficial. If, however, you are looking for the qualification, the Red Hat type qualifications have decent reviews.

With regards to demand and remuneration, the demand is certainly substantial, with the continuing increase in the number of desktop linux users, and of course servers
