Yes, but it's a monolithic kernel which means that most of the operating system services live inside of it, so this is really splitting hairs.
 
Can you connect it to the Internet?
No, why would I care about the internet while using TempleOS. Using it makes one Solomon's successor and thus no need for internet because you'll be too busy talking to God while using it.
 
In the real world nobody cares about your imaginary distro points.
I work on RHEL and Ubuntu and windows servers, but they're just tools to run my code.
Better supported means fewer issues.
 
Ubuntu is just another distro of Linux. At the core they are all Linux.
