Hi Guys,

Total Linux noob here.I've done the exact same setup on a Windows machine with some other software.

Using Raspbian on a Pi2

After some light google searching and not finding exactly what i was looking for,I thought I'd ask you helpful peeps.

Im looking for an app/s that can help me do the following:

-Run on a time based schedule
-auto click area's of the screen
-auto type certain info into text fields

It should have the ability to set the schedule 7 days a week/at certain hours.

The purpose of this : To login to my ADSL router and change ISP details at certain hours.
I have the pi as a seeding box, thought i could use it as a automated tool to change accounts for when i forget etc...

Any one know anything that could help me?

Thanks

I've never done what you ask but a simple google search brought this up. The tool is in Linux Mint so i assume it will be in other distros repo as well.

If it doesn't come with a timer then you can create a cron job that will execute the script for you.

Depending on the router and the interface provided, does it not make more sense to use cURL and a cron job?
