Anyone mining Litecoing? How is it going?

Looking for the basics on mining Litecoin but not good info online so far (will continue to read though)

What miner are you using? Wallet? Pool?

What do you mean "not good info online so far", it's 2017, LTC has been around for ages. You can't google without finding 20 tutorials, 700 videos and 54 forum threads explaining it/the process or trying to sell you hardware (never mind all the calculators and exchanges, pool information and hash rate discussions per card, what to overclock, how, bios etc)

Do you guys think this coin will go anywhere value wise or is Bitcoin and Ether the ones to stick to? I know it also had a rally this year, but does this coin have a future? Bitcoin is the leader, and Ether is based on at least a new blockchain that improves on the blockchain for Bitcoin to incorporate more functions and capabilities, so Ether should go up again. Litecoin, what would drive its value in future?

So far I'm seeing LTC a bit more stable after it's rally, unlike ETH and BTC which has seen major dips. I know a few guys who are switching over to LTC mining instead of ETH

Do they use ASIC miners? It is bloody hard to compete in Scrypt.
