Lithium Ion Batteries

00:00 to 09:00 slow production
09:00 to 11:00 production picks up
11:00 to 13:00 producing more
13:00 to 17:00 same as above
17:00 to 22:00 production slowing down
22:00 to 00:00 comes to a crawl

What are these settings for can you reveal? No tick marks on Grid or Gen
they tell the inverter to what % you want to use the battery and / or when to use the grid.

So between 11 and 1pm the solar will be used to charge the batteries to 80% so that between 5pm and 10pm you discharge the battery. If you get to the set % before the time then the system will draw from the grid

Edit: if grid / gen charge is ticked then the inverter will top up to the set level from the grid or generator

Do you have a Generator? No? So no gen.
Do you want to minimize grid usage? A previous post suggested that you do, thus you are setting the battery percentages that you either charge (from PV) or discharge towards. Only tick grid if you want to charge from grid.

Do you have a manual? Good one here: https://www.sunsynk.org/_files/ugd/9350f7_53e5f7aa833746b9b2cdefd90355c881.pdf

Mine currently as I modified it
1st row Soc/V and last row lowest I can go below 30%

Tnx for helping me. Still a noob

So if battery discharges to 30%, you will get a low battery alarm. Nice. Just what you need at 02H45.

Rather make low batt alarm at 25%

And your Battery Setup - Shutdown screen is aligned?
Changes done
Ok what I noticed going back to system 2 I can alter 30% lower. It seems they go hand in hand those settings

Last night the batteries discharged up to 69%

You will get the hang of it soon. We all struggled a bit to understand it the first few days.

Cant see pic greyed out
This one. Make it 25%. You will thank me later.

Why would you buy something to only use 20% of it?

Use the whole thing and when it’s dead and broken replace it.

Makes no sense to try and strain the life out of the thing while never gaining any real world use from it.

That 20% is the life left in the battery, so he'd be 80% used.

Longevity in my case - i'm also not keen on exceeding manufacturer recommendations and thus my warranty.

My battery as an example:
Warranty [4] 10 years or 4 000 cycles for average 80% DoD, and max 90% DoD

So if I was running it past 90% DoD then I think they wouldn't honour the warranty when I killed it within 10 years - and at 105k for the battery I'm not so keen to do so.

No no, for sure there is the manufacturer and warranty recommended terms.

Hence mine at 20% normally and 10% under load shedding.

But OP was talking about 50% or less which made it sound like he didn’t want to discharge more than 50% ever which seems like a deeply diminishing return. Screenshots suggest the same.

First pic is about positive lines were CT direction got changed.
Also two additional pic's what I did yesterday. This were the point I could not go lower then 30%.
First and last row hint.
