Hi

i would like to know, if anybody has experienced a similar issue. My controller works fine, all buttons in fact as i play other games without any issues.

I bought LBP for my son, but it starts up, the voice takes me through the various controls, but Sackboy just doesnt want to move forward. When i use the left stick, he moves his arms, but he just refuses to move forward. When i hit x, he jumps, but again wont move forward.

However, as soon as i put in the charging usb cable, he moves forward, but then strangely enough, he wont jump again.

Im pulling my hair out already, and im thinking that perhaps its the actual game that might an issue?

Did you do an updated?

If you did, then it sounds like a problem with your controller. Try switching off everything in the house that is using bluetooth and wifi.

i did an update, but like i said, i dont have any problems using the controller with any other game

Just remember LBP makes use of the accelerometer as well. Try moving the controller around.

didnt try that... i thought that was only possible with the PS3 Move stuff

If i remember correctly, to get sackboy to move his arms you must press the L2 and / or R2 buttons. Check that those 2 shoulder buttons are not stuck.

Yes that right. try see if the R2 button might be stuck or something
