It doesn't matter what your belief behind the flag is. It doesn't matter that back then, the country was in a much better shape financially. It doesn't matter that back then the country ran like a well oiled machine. It doesn't matter that back then the country was much safer than it is now. What matters is that flag resembles an era of oppression and flying it makes you no better than the hypocrites and anti-whites of today.

Which country are we talking about here? Things certainly did not run like a well oiled machine in my part of the country.

How you can't tell the difference between someone telling you, you are a **** and someone defending of all things a flag LOL.

Some Common sense. This is what they want us to explain to them. Something you really didn't have to explain. All types of ridiculous excuses that to them justifies people having been treated like animals.

its funny, i never thought of the flag before this saga.


now its just funny making fun of people frothing over it.


the crux of it though, is to not negating freedom of expression/thought/speech.

because if a flag can make you cry about the past.

the same will happen about a song.

the same will happen about monuments.

the same will happen about a language

the same will happen about a skin colour.

the blame of hardship and failure will just be passed onto the next thing, because its far easier to look outwards for problems. especially when your leaders are telling you it is because of that and not them.


there is recorded history that shows us how this ends up a lot of the time. to show/remind us what not to do again. but hey, rather close your eyes with your fingers in your ears and shout everything is awesome.

Nope he is not, granted, bit rough around the edges , but brings different perspective and better balance to the discourse. I note the usual hoppie le strategy does not work on him either, in my book, a keeper.
