Help!

MiniMoose is nagging every morning on the way to Pre Primary that he wants to go to Australia, on enquiring why he wishes to go to Australia so badly, well , he wants to see a live Kangaroo.

Is there anywhere in the Grand Ol' Republic of South Africa where one can view a live Kangaroo?

I think this would be cheaper than flying the fandamily to Oz!

Thanking you in advance....

Pretoria Zoo has an Australian section with all kinds of Australian animals

If you want him to see them cages then a zoo in SA would do, but something like a safari tour then you have to go for the real deal

Pretoria Zoo has kangaroos and drop bears.

In fact I think they are the only zoo in Africa with drop bears.

I would prefer the Northern Cape or the Cape, feck I was in Pretoria at the beginning of the year and somebody said go visit the zoo, I went to the mall instead....

Well one zoo is much like the next I suppose. At least at Pretoria Zoo there is more variety and less (mall)rats. :p

Saw some (or was it wallabies?) at Gold Reef City a few years ago
