With the season over Liverpool needs to look forward to the summer transfers, new owner possibilities, possibly a new manager and player unrest.

There are talks of Torres and Gerrard Leaving. :( Mascherano definately wants out after his comments ( sourcehttp://www.dailypost.co.uk/sport-news/liverpool-fc/2010/05/17/liverpool-fc-s-javier-mascherano-doesn-t-want-to-live-on-merseyside-55578-26459176/. These issues looks like they will be resolved after the world cup and in the interim lots of speculation will be abound.

This is an important summer for Liverpool as we currently seem unable to fund any transfers with our current debt problem and the owners wanting to sell us.

We will probably need to sell to buy and these are the assurances Rafa is demanding from Broughton.Hence his non-commitment to Liverpool recently.

there are people calling for Rafa's head. The problem might be that players will want out as well if he leaves and that's the last thing we need.

so i ask you this:
Will Rafa leave?
Will new owners be brought in? will it be another Leverage buyout?? * GOD FORBID*
Will we see any major transfer activity?
Will key players stay at anfield?

All i want is new owners. Clear the Debt burden and build a new stadium. We will then become self sufficient.

Will Rafa leave?
Hopefully.

Can't see it happening until at least after the WC. By then there's too little time to buy any decent players anyway.
Will we see any major transfer activity?
Mostly outwards :(
Will key players stay at anfield?
I can see at least 2 big names leaving us...

do you think there will be a mass exodus if Rafa leaves?

Will Rafa leave?
Nope, if we get new owners before the start of the new season then he could be forced out

Yes, when I dont know. Seems like all the guys brough in by T & H are set to screw with us 1 way or another

Will we see any major transfer activity?
All depends on when the new owners come & who's in charge

Will key players stay at anfield?
I think the likes of Torres & Riena will, Gerrard for me has been too quiet of recent.

Can liverpool afford to let rafa go? Can they afford to keep torres?

They got serious cash problems and letting rafa goes means loads of money which they don't have, selling torres for 40m+ would help them immensely. Rafa needs to go though.

I would rather get rid of the current owners before getting rid of Rafa. Selling players like Torres and Gerrard may be the only way out for Liverpool. Sad times indeed. :( My beloved LFC.

Carra is an optimist of note :P

Thats what I thought!

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher says the club can be a force in 2010/11 even if key players leave Anfield.

Carragher said: "People always talk about players leaving and saying 'this is the end of Liverpool'. No chance.

"Better players than those we have now have left and we replaced them. I'm sure we'll do well next season."

The two players with the biggest profiles, midfielder Steven Gerrard and striker Fernando Torres, have both been linked with moves to other clubs.

England international Gerrard, 29, a Kop favourite for the past decade, almost signed for Chelsea in 2005.

Now, Real Madrid are thought to be leading a new Europe-wide race to land him, with Manchester City and Inter Milan also in the frame.

+1

Carra reckons the club can still be a force even if key players leave in the summer. Thoughts?

Possibly like most teams...any team can still do well...we lost most of our key players last season (blackburn) and finished 10th which for my team was good.Liverpool just need to find confidence again.

I recon about 2 seasons till pool get relegated, you'll have to pick a second team to support.

Also how long till Torres and Gerhardus leave? I think they will make their plans final after the WC, one has to wonder where Torres will go, probably Spain.

No ways. Thats just biast. Are you a Manchester United fan?

Personally not too much of a Scouser fan but I'd like to see them knock Spurs off their perch

Why would you stop supporting a team if they relegated? I support a team Struggling in League 2!

Fence sitting United fans..
