In England I have a Fiat Ducato, which is well appointed with a 2300cc diesel engine, pull out beds, kitchen, hot water shower, loo, electrical connection, water reservoir, toilet can (real nice job cleaning that). It has a GPS and satnav, power steering, rotating seats. I park it at my cousin's house in Leicester. Paid £12000 for it about 6 years ago, they go for £35k now at least

I believe you can get this model from Fiat in Somerset West, from about R 330k.

Yep. Am installing a cctv dome camera in the kitchen and linking it to my CCTV system that can be accessed via 3G. I hate a dirty kitchen!!!

I have a similar Iveco 6-sleeper which I bought from bobocampers when they replaced their SWC rental fleet. Not nearly as large as the RV from the US but I can drive with my normal car license. Just wife and I so plenty space for us but I think too small for permanent living.
