Ahh, you're lucky with the power bank setup. I tried a B315 LTE modem but no go. Surprisingly a Billion 400G ADSL modem worked fine off my phone powerbank the last I tested.

I pulled the trigger on one of the mini ups things uniterm is selling. It should keep the router and alarm going for a good few hours

I've got a UPS but it's more trouble than it's worth. After the last round of shedding the batteries probably need replacing.

If I know load shedding is happening I can hook up a trickle charger and just let it run.
 
What the hell were they doing since March!? Power consumption was so low they could have brought 50%+ of the country offline to fix the problems and be back on by now!?!@:mad:
