Load shedding is back - 2 Nov 2014

Tijgerhof , Milnerton load shedding from 08:30 -11:00

Thank gosh charged all laptop , iPads , iPhones last night
 
Does anyone know where to find the Joburg City Power schedule? Its 404 when trying to find it on their website :mad:
 
I would just like to thank all you South Africans for generously supplying my little town in Namibia with your electricity, no sign of any power outages up here, though a mere 15km across the border in neighbouring Alexander Bay, they have load shedding....

Think I will go outside and turn ON my pool pump!

Fek me... I swear these loadshedding schedules were designed by morons..

My area gets loadshed either between 20:00 and 22:30 or 06:00 and 08:30...

*facepalm* now their website is down

I guess I should count myself lucky I can still ping them and that my PC screen hasn't gone dark...touch wood...

Would you mind doing a copy-paste here of the suburbs or is it too big? Tried accessing from my phone (Vodacom) and tablet (Telkom Mobile) and neither can access the site...

The two time periods alternate on different days...

So monday would be evening, tuesday morning, wednesday evening....

Other areas in the city have much nicer cycles.. say 10:00 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 16:30.. so for ppl in those areas who work all day, they may not even notice the load shedding.
 
oh man....this is going to suck.

Lets hope they can duck tape it back together again

Unfortunate most cycles must by necessity fall into the most inconvenient time slots. i.e. Peak cooking time
