Load-shedding set to continue all week

Does anyone think it's suspicious anytime Eskom is denied more money, we have loadshedding...

This is now silly, then why swing between stage 2 and 4??? Be honest Eskom, you want dosh.

Stage 2 overnight when demand is less. There is only so much pumped storage that can be replenished. Apart from geysers that can be switched on, it doesn't help the average customer much while they are sleeping!?

Does not help the average customer, when they are awake as well, but yeah ...

totally agree, was annoying last night to be switched off at midnight while i am almost asleep, had to get up coz i could hear my UPS's

Following on from what I said earlier, there definitely seems to be a pattern:
May 2018:
Unsuccessful bid to have prices increased, load shedding kicks off. Nersa grants additional increase:
October 2018:
Eskom asks Nersa for another increase. Eskom holds public hearings - loadshedding starts...
Feb 2019:
February 7th, Nersa communicates to Eskom that it has not approved the rationalisation of municipal tariffs, loadshedding starts...
March 2019:
March 7th, Nersa awards eskom MYPD increases below what Eskom is asking for, loadshedding starts...
October 2019:
October 12th, Nersa hits back at Eskom court bid over MYPD, loadshedding starts 4 days later.
November 2019:
Nersa puts pressure on Eskom for it's lack of cooperation in regards to an audit in a meeting on Wednesday 6 November
Loadshedding announced on the evening of the 7th...
December 2019:
Eskom requests further clawback from Nersa, loadshedding starts...

The next MYPD is due on the 24th March 2020 with public hearings happening during Feb - I predict a medium probability of loadshedding in Feb followed by a high probability at the end of Feb and almost certain at the end of March...

what loadshedding, my lights hasn't gone out once yet

what loadshedding, my lights hasn't gone out once yet
must be on a part of the grid that is critical like a hospital or something, like my mom in cape town, near the red cross, she hasn't had any loadshedding.

Jissis we are now totally ****ed, completely and utterly F U C K E D!

And it is just going to get worse, the ANC has now proven once and for all that it is incapable of running anything, not a tuck shop, not a ****ing bicycle stand, nothing!

If this is the going trend we are looking at a complete failure of the power grid and then we are properly screwed.
