the prestik helps about 75% of the beep, i usually sleep through it no problem but last night i was dozing off and almost asleep when all of a sudden i heard both UPS's and knew there is no way i can sleep through that for 150 minutes. So i got up to switch them off but by then i was wide awake so just surfed Youtube until 2:30am hahahaSo much for the prestik.
Nice dream you're having, Eskom doesn't care if the grid has a hospital on it. There is nothing critical in their eyes.must be on a part of the grid that is critical like a hospital or something, like my mom in cape town, near the red cross, she hasn't had any loadshedding.
Does anyone think it's suspicious anytime Eskom is denied more money, we have loadshedding...

Eskom wants R27bn clawback from consumers
It's asking for more from tariffs to cover the under-recovery of its actual costs in 2018/19, while subjecting consumers to crippling load shedding.www.moneyweb.co.za

Eskom is claiming R16.7 billion additional revenue for primary energy, mostly related to coal.
The power utility is highly critical of Nersa’s decision to approve R39.1 billion coal burn cost, compared with the R48.6 billion it applied for and the ultimate actual cost of R51.5 billion.
Eskom's cost of coal has gone through the roof. Being able to amend / cancel these contracts could potentially save Eskom R10 - R20 billion per year.

No a real life biblical Armageddon.Flooding and Coal?
