Loadshedding affordable battery setup?

I am so gatvol and so done with the solar junkies that decided not to do anything. Every aspect of solar has been red-typed to death to the point where solar installers, the DA, and Eskom can all find a collective ditch and exit my life.

I will assess what I really need, how much power it consumes, and what I need to power it and work from that point.

Thanks to the DA, by-laws, and Eskom we will truly own nothing and with their foot on our necks, we will be happy about it.

since you have ,multiple batteries and a 0.55pf charger

i was wondering if this test would not give more clarity on the affect of power factor on what you get out of the battery

ie charge a battery full then use an inverter with the full battery ie no grid to charge an empty battery
if it can get it almost full the power factor pulling less from the battery would be confirmed

ie transfer all from one battery to another via 0.55pf and then test the charged battery for capacity

ie if the power factor is a thing you would only be able to get 55ah out of the battery you just charged
from a 100ah battery
ie you would get704wh instead of 1280wh

i do i expect you to get more out of that battery

though you would still get less ie inverter efficiency

if you know what to expect from your inverter ie from past experience
like if it is 80% efficient since you know in the past you could at best get 80ah on the output side of a known good 100ah battery, ie you actually use 100ah but lose 20ah to heat in the inverter

but then you would also get 80% from the charged via 0.55 pf battery ie if you could only put in 704wh
thus you would then get 563wh

R100 bucks pnp voucher , in fact it would help all of us when it comes to calculating battery sizes
so voucher either way
 
others wanting the same test can add to the pot until it is worth your time
 
not my idea i read it in an explainer on PF and just passed it on

yea the bad thing is many myths become ingrained so scared to take anything i read online as gospel
ie like the battery university thing on cycles -outdated info

not disregarding though just feel it needs to be checked/confirmed

i am more inclined to believe stuff that i read in forums where people try to see in real world use what actually happens

that is why i started liking the off grid garage channel - initially didn't
