Oi! Leave me out of this...
Nope. They'll all get the **** fired out of them for unprotected striking and violence and **** then...
One can only hope that the rule of law would be enforced properly if that were to happen...

So was yesterday a unicorn day or are we in for some more "excitement"
Quick question. After all the gupta leaks and it was established that Eskom was paying to much for coal - what happened from there? Couldn't the savings from that assist in some increases for the unionized workers?
NOTHING came of it. They could save billions at Eskom right now just by putting simple cost-containment measures in place. Pay for coal what you are supposed to pay for coal is but one. And people still hold Pravin Gordhan up on some pedestal.![]()

Its not that simple since contracts were signed..
You can't just unilaterally change the terms of a contract without being taken to court.
But if the Tegata coal contracts were illegally signed due to bribe et al. surely they can declare that contract null and void?
UPDATE: 'High risk' of load shedding likely over weekend

I GUARANTEE you they could've cancelled that contract on the basis of it being corrupt. SAPS are doing with that guy who owns their IT systems? SASSA with CPS?
Not a single person has been held accountable for those coal contracts. Just quietly re-deployed or still at ESKOM, in a different position or perhaps even the same position.
