Local Antivirus updare mirrors ?

Hi peeps, im thinking of implementing ADSL with local only bandwidth at 3 of our small sites for primarily for mail sync..

The problem is i cant seem to find any Antivirus software that can be updated locally , does anyone know of any ?
would greatly help.

I thought that BitDefender uses local Akamai servers to update?

All AV providers worth their salt use Akamai or some other content distribution network for updates.



To test:
Initiate your AV update & immediately do a "netat -f"


You should see something like this:

TCP blah_blah_your_public_IP:1734 a196-33-166-200.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com:http ESTABLISHED

Seems like Akamai servers live at Internet Solutions.
