Does any1 know of any such sites or maybe a local rapidshare? FTPs are way to slow

I don't think anything like that exists. There are small P2P circles locally, but no server-client type "filesharing" (I suppose "leeching" is a better description of grabbing things off a client-server setup :p) that I know of :)
 
If you have a Local Only Connection from Openweb, add OpenBrowse to your account and you can browse International sites using the local account. Please note that Openbrowse is for Browsing only, not downloading.
 
Is there still a local dc++ server? I recently got adsl (through xdsl) with a 30gig local cap and am looking for a good place to throw that away, be it dc++ or a local torrent site etc...

Can some wonderful bastard pm the details of any such offering? (I'm assuming you don't want to announce some things publically)
 
Only because abusers\pirates have been carted off to "the big house" :p .
 
This is a case of "local is not lekker", all the good worthwhile stuff is on international servers.:D
 
wuts all on the news server? games, movies, tv series, apps? is grabber a p2p program?

i have a 4MB line and i use rapidshare ALOT but im looking for something local so that i can buy me a local account
 
you better off using torrents, forget about the news servers since it can be very erratic, and you'll waste your cap since it always has problems.
