Are there any local file uploading/FTP sites that anyone can list? UUNET used to be nice...sigh..

None that work along the same lines as UUNET :(

We've been looking ever since UUNET shut down.

'Grats on the 6K ;)

I do not know of any lists as such, because no one bothers (AFAIK - Please prove me wrong! :p) uploading anything big cause of the Uber Fast upload speeds one tend to get :(

No. I get ~40KB/s upload speeds. Where I was totally used to get 2MB/s+ at times with UUNET. On average I got anything from 400KB/s to 1500KB/s :(

Yes, that is KiloBytes and MegaBytes per second...
