Local Free ?

I just want to clarify if local adsl (like after being capped on Telkom isp) is free ? Thanks
 
You get 10GB local with every 1GB of TelkomInternet (think it's only them?) bandwidth you buy.

i.e 3GB account has 30GB local after initial international/local cap has been reached.
 
that information had been removed from the telkom product website .

for until end December you can push - but i'd be REAL careful January
 
I'm on 70GB (local) for this month... last month, I did pretty much the same.

I'd watch the ISP web sites though, especially TI's web site as well as your e-mails and post for news on this, because once they start charging, they'll let us know and then we have to monitor our usage or we'll experience some horrible bills.

I've been lurking around looking for the actual truth on this for a while now, before I actually go and use my local that heavily. I've heard three tales: Completely free (yeah right), 10GB free for every 1GB you're signed up with as well as R20 odd straight off for every gig.

So I'm a little lost. Care to elaborate?
 
I have no idea actually, I don't care, I just use it (local) till I get capped.

They can't charge me till I get notification of price increases so TI kiss my cute ass.

Is this written anywhere on telkom website? :D so I know wether to stop or not
 
Did any 1 even try to just phone telkom? Maybe im just crazy they cant give you any help with regarding your international bandwidth what about the local now!
 
It was on telkoms website for a week, however it is now removed soooo **** em!
 
yeah, thats what i thought, and i was charged for two 3 gig accounts because i downloaded a few gigs after being capped on my telkom account...

i noticed that it has been removed off the website, but that doesnt mean anything because this happened to me before it was even on the website... sooooo... if someone who actually knows whats going can tell me if its worth giving it another try?

telkom needs to be more official and informative on changes with our accounts... its pathetic...

Are you sure it not the December fee plus the January fee that you are seeing on your account?
